Ali (AKA Farhad) Neghipooran

(Director/Secretary & Centre Manager)

Farhad, originally from Iran, arrived in the UK over two decades ago. Motivated by a deep commitment to supporting underprivileged communities and promoting social cohesion, he played a pivotal role in founding Food and Education Enterprise CIC in 2013. Since then, Farhad has remained a driving force behind the organisation, leading a dedicated team of staff and volunteers with remarkable energy and enthusiasm.

Lesia Miroshnichenko

(Director & Project Support Worker)

Lesia is originally from Ukraine and she has been a dedicated volunteer with the organization since 2020, and in 2023, Lesia was appointed as a Director and Project Support Worker, further solidifying her commitment to the community. Her every day role encompasses varied administrative tasks , contributing to the organization’s mission of providing food, education, and support to those in need. Lesia’s involvement reflects her deep dedication to community welfare.

Bahareh Naghipouran

(Director & Project Support Worker)

Bahareh, originally from Iran, began volunteering with Food and Education Enterprise CIC shortly after arriving in the UK in 2014. Over the years, her role has evolved significantly. She now works as a tutor and Project Support Officer, assisting FEE learners with ESOL, Maths, and IT/Digital support services. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Bahareh plays an active role in the organisation’s operations, contributing to bookkeeping, monitoring, research, funding applications, and bid-writing.

Nataliia Berchun

(Project Support Worker)

Nataliia, originally from Ukraine, first accessed FEE services as a beneficiary, taking part in our ESOL, Maths, and IT/Digital classes. Demonstrating great enthusiasm and commitment, she later supported our Warm Welcome and Ukrainian community projects on a voluntary basis. In recognition of her dedication, Natalia was subsequently employed by FEE as a part-time cleaner. Shortly after, she progressed into a part-time Assistant Administrator role within our offices, where she continues to contribute meaningfully to our work.

Alan Griggs

(Director)

Alan joined FEE as a Director when it all started in 2013. Alan completed a degree in Third World Development (as it was called then) at Derby University, and has worked closely with communities in Derby and Derbyshire ever since. Alan has found the opportunity to support FEE’s governance extremely important and rewarding in order for FEE to thrive. His own family faced the challenges of establishing a new life in the UK in the 20th century as Jewish refugees, which has always sparked Alan’s desire to support others with similar stories today.

Pamela Gupta

(Non Exec Director)

Pamela brings her governance experience of being a NHS board member and NHS Lay Chair to FEE. Her career includes newsreading at the BBC and teaching at the BRIT School and universities. She is also a Media Consultant, event host and celebrant

Pamela grew up above a corner shop in inner-city Derby and is very connected to diverse communities.

I have always had a deep concern for those on the margins of society and through getting to know Farhad Neghipooran and the work of FEE got involved as a director. For thirty five years I worked for the Church of England as a vicar in deprived urban contexts and now that I have retired am very pleased to be able to also support the FEE food project one day a week as a volunteer.
